Studiophiles was created to teach you how to use drawing as a form of meditation - a break from too many thoughts or just a busy life. When I draw there's not a single though in my head. Drawing should be your free space. A place where you learn to take a break and create a mental calmness that you can use in your everyday life.
There's something magical when drawing a realism illustration with just pencils on paper. It's simple. And I like simple things that create magic. It's something for everyone but only patience and practice will get you that sense of creating something magical out of something so simple.
When you focus on the drawing - getting every detail right, it will also drain your tension and increase your confidence. But learning to draw requires patience. There's no rushing a detailed drawing that you want to look realistic. But you CAN learn to draw quite quickly when you learn what to look for, how to use the tools and when you practice regularly.
I've taught students in my studio on a 3 month beginner course (2 hours once a week) and after two months they could draw their first realism portrait! So I'd say anyone can learn to draw if they're patient. I will definitely do my very best to teach you so each video tutorial includes information about all the materials I use, how to use them and why I'm using them.
